Fancy Books

I like the colors on this one. I stamped a scroll at the bottom of the book and then embossed it with clear (ultra thick) embossing powder. I used stickles to give it some shine! The back of the flower is dye cut from the phone book pages. (Love that idea, thanks sis!) I had a lot of fun with this one and it looks very pretty!!

These are some more of the $1 books I picked up on clearance at Office Depot. The stickers on the pink one and the rub-on scrolls on the blue one are from Big Lots! Really like the way they came out! Glad I have a lot of scrap paper!!!

Love Those Hooty Owls!

I just love these little "Hooty" Owls! The first owl is from a set called Q.T. Hooty Owl Stamps from Pink Cat Studio. I had to cut them out and put them on mounting foam, but it was worth it! Thanks to Yolanda at Memory Gardens Scrapbook Shoppe for the inspiration! The other little owl has been on this blog before so he is making a return trip. He is the "What a Hoot!" stamp from Hampton Art. I love the google eyes!

A Fun Book

This is a composition book covered in felt. I had a fun time punching out the felt letters and flowers. There is a lot of bling on here too. I had to use some stickles and skittles. I just had to!

I made a changito scrapbooking magnet for you this morning! He's pretty cute, don't you think? He will be swinging his way to you in the morning!

A Useful Book!

I made this little book with the help of two things. My sister and the Bind-It-All. This is a book with samples of all my embossing powders. I don't buy many EP's anymore, but it sure is nice to be able to pick out what I need in the book and then find the jar. Make a book for your favorite thing!

Busy with Books

Love these little $1 books! They are a lot of fun to re-cover and they use up lots of scrap paper. That "just a note" stamp is one of my favorites.
